My broad experience has generated effective, award-winning design and advertising for print and new media. I hold a BA in Humanities and an MS in Package Design from Pratt Institute. After teaching high school art and humanities, I began a career in design and advertising. Before forming Tobin Creative, I was a senior designer with one of the premier medium-sized North Jersey agencies for over 20 years. While there, I created printed collateral, identity programs, packaging and trade-show graphics for diverse clients, including BMW of North America, Volvo Cars of North America, AT&T, Silver Burdett, Russ Berrie & Co., The News Tribune, American Standard, John Harms Center for the Arts (now bergenPAC) and Hoffmann-La Roche among others.
My work has received numerous awards, including gold medals from the Art Directors Club of New Jersey and best in category from the North Jersey Ad Club. It has appeared in Graphis, Graphis Annual, Graphic Design USA and Creativity.
Since forming Tobin Creative, my clients have included Stryker Orthopaedics, Alpha Assembly Solutions, Volvo Cars of North America, Pathways Education Programs, St. Philip’s Academy, Dr. Lena Edwards Academic Charter School, eHigher Education, StoreMore Products, and Accudart.
My creative approach delivers graphic impact through imagery that commands attention, driving targeted audiences to take action. My style focuses on clarity of communication – always with an eye to supporting creative strategy and the brand. In working with clients, I look for opportunities to collaborate.
